Hello. Today was a good day. The weather was sunny and warm. We did a lot for today.

First,

We talked about the Assembly in the circle time. We stretched our bodies to be ready for the whole day. We practiced here and there. We danced and sang again and again. We think we are ready for the big day but of course, we are nervous – a lot!

Second,

We had our 1st kind of Christmas Tree. We have the ‘Pasta Decoration’.

We go the idea from our neighbor. He helped us making this cute craft. We are thankful to him. We will bring it home once its ready. The uncle told that it needs a golden splay at the end to finish the Christmas tree.

We will wait for it to dry and we can see it beautifully. He shares the extra pastas from his home and we are happy, because everyone is sharing. Christmas is about Sharing too!

Third,

We had our Real Christmas Tree decorating too.

We got 2 balls each. We hanged the balls properly. Decorating the Christmas Tree makes us feel good because it gives us the excitement to look forward to Christmas Day.

Our family at home can decorate together too. It will be more exciting if we have the big star on top! It is the light of the big day.

Finally,

We did our own Christmas Balls. We used the crayons to decorate our own style balls. We have 3 balls. For tomorrow, we will paint the balls using the water color paint. Let’s look forward to it.

今日はいい天気。晴れて暖かかったです。

私たちは今日、たくさんのことをしました。

まず、サークルタイムでクリスマス・アセンブリの話をしました。準備のために体を伸ばしました。あちらこちらで練習をしました。何度も何度も踊ったり歌ったりしました。準備は万端と思いますが、、、もちろん緊張はしています。

次は、1種類目のクリスマスツリーです。「パスタ・デコレーション」です。

ご近所の方に教えていただきました。ありがとうございます。出来上がったら、家に持って帰りますね。おじさんは、クリスマスツリーを仕上げるには、最後に金色のスプレイが必要だと言っていました。

あとは乾くのを待つだけです。余ったパスタをおすそ分けしてくれたり、みんなで分け合ったりして、とても幸せな気持ちになりました。クリスマスもシェアするものなんですね。

3番目、本物のクリスマスツリーの飾り付けです。

ボールを2つずつ用意しました。ちゃんと吊るしました。クリスマスツリーを飾ると、クリスマスが待ち遠しくなり、いい気分になります。

家にいる家族も一緒に飾りつけをすることができます。てっぺんに大きな星があると、もっとワクワクしますよ。大きな星は、その日を照らす光です。

最後に、自分たちでクリスマス・ボールを作りました。クレヨンを使って、自分たちらしいボールをデコレーションしました。3つのボールができました。明日は、水彩絵の具でボールを塗る予定です。楽しみですね。
